Equine Assisted Therapy

Often referred to as EAT.

It differs from EFL in that there is sometimes a second, Horse welfare person present, to enable the therapist to focus solely on the client. Sessions can be in the school, in the stable or the field.

Theses sessions are experiential which means we focus on the experience that you, the client is having now, the feelings you may be having in relation to what is happening with the horse, this may then be explored in more depth and relate to past events which can then be worked through. Theses sessions are non-riding.
